Hey there GRI! My names Daniel and im the Co-Founder of Paranormal Project up here in Sunny Queensland. Myself and Co-Founder Brad were out on a ghost hunt a couple of years ago and took this interesting photo. (unfortunately this isnt the original, but Brad has it on his hdd) We were at tallebudgera cemetery and there were not lights around Could this be possible ecto? Would love to know your opinion Daniel

Hi Daniel, If you'd like an analysis of the original you can submit it at ghostresearchinternational.com/Formpic/form.phpMy guess would be a digital camcorder on night shot leaving the shutter open for a time after the flash has fired. Any light would trail as displayed. Depending on the exact exposure settings it can actually display the background perfectly but reveal such a streak as the camera is lowered with the shutter open in the darkness - any light from someone nearby with a torch or a device with an LED light such as a camera, EMF meter etc.... could cause such an effect. In this way the actual light source could be behind, above, below, to the side, or in front of the photographer. You'll see other examples at ghostresearchinternational.com/userphotos.htmHope this helps.

I agree, looks like the same effect in some of my light paintings. Whatever is was, it was illuminated (a steady light source as well) and moving.
