I have seen a shadow person or entity a few times over the past couple of years. A majority of the time it has been in my living room, which sometimes catches me off guard. (He is a sneaky one!) Personally, I feel that shadow people are entities which for some reason are trying to hide their identity. Whether it be they have bad intentions or do not want to be recognized by a human or other spiritual entity. Though I do not feel the shadow person I have encoutered is evil, others I have seen give off an eerie presence. This is only my theory, because I cannot help but wonder why an entity that could form into something does not fully form. Gotta be hiding from something. I'm totally agree with you! they try to avoid contact with humans but i don't think they're dangerous or evil they're just creepy Nicolas

Just recently I hav had another experience with a shadow person, if you would call it a person, this shadow was not in a shape of a person although the head was like a hooded kind of shape which extended into quite a large shape. Very distorted looking and at least a meter of the ground, after looking straight at it I was going to approach towards it, I closed my eyes for probably about 3 seconds or so, to gain my confidence i guess but after opening them, the shape had disappeared. Is it possible that they know you are about to approach them, or can read vibes on what you are about to do? I don't feel fear anymore from happenings, is this dangerous? I often feel nothing, sometimes I don't even recall how I feel at the time.

I have witnessed what I would call shadow people but really not sure on the explanation. All the points raised are valid and worthy. Energy is a funny thing!

Regarding the questions raised: Is it possible that they know you are about to approach them, or can read vibes on what you are about to do? From what I've experienced most of the time it seems as if there is an awareness. When you do things to attempt to find out more or document the activity, it ceases. For example set up all your gear in the most active places - sure enough something will happen elsewhere. There is also a theory that the activity is created by the witness (not the result of "spirits") and the activity ceases once you try to document it or examine it closer as the mind shifts its concentration.
I don't feel fear anymore from happenings, is this dangerous? As more activity is experienced witnesses often begin to feel more at home with it. This may in time remove much fear as activity becomes the norm. To me this is a good thing. The more you act out of fear, the less chance you have of logically examining the activity and fully documenting it. If however something more intense occurs the fear factor may still kick as the mind enters the fight or flight mechanism. There is also a common belief that negative activity feeds off fear and so the less fear you have, the less power they have.
