The Multi Terrain Wireless Camera, this is specifically for those areas to small for an investigator to get to like under a house or trailer. This little baby can turn 360 on the spot and has a separate revolving turret with Camera attached, here's a short video of the the MTC in action, its not great and Im going to put together a better version but for now heres what I have... There has been a couple of upgrades since this photo was taken, for example Ive upgraded the camera output so it will go further and maintain a better quality image. Additionally Im upgrading the remote control feature by building in a booster so it can also travel a further distance.

heres a quick update on the MTC, Firstly heres a video of the MTC in action: From the first run of the camera I could see some things that needed looking at or improving SO over the past few days (as something of a distraction) I decided to conduct a few upgrades. IR Extender/Strobe/Beacon - From the first run I found that I required better and clearer illumination in pitch black conditions. In addition to the IR Extender the light has a setting that turns it into a strobe and has a number of different flashing light patterns. Camera on/off switch - Originally the camera powered on as soon as a battery was connected, on that basis I was loosing valuable battery power while the MTC was not in use or waiting. Flexible Antenna - The original upgrade was a large 3 ft antenna which if Im wanting to use the MTC in a crawl space I'd have limited head room therefor I needed something that would cope with limited space. 3V Power Boost (Camera) - This is another camera quality upgrade. Now the camera has the option to run 9V, 10.5V or 12V giving better quality image and a further distance of video feed. Im sure there will be additional upgrades the more we use the MTC but for now heres the latest news.

Ive actually bought a VERY small wireless camera that I intend to incorporate into a Helicopter so that we can see the tops of buildings or just reach areas that we cant get to normally. I do love my toys.... I mean tools.

Wow. You've put some real thought into this.
Any excuse to incorporate toys(sorry I mean tools) into science is OK in my book! LOL
Good thinking!
