Highland Ghost Hunters (HGH) is group of paranormal investigators based in Oakland County, Michigan. We have been investigating, researching, and documenting the paranormal since October of 2005. Our group is composed of serious minded individuals, both skeptics and believers. HGH utilizes their knowledge and experiences to help others dealing with possible paranormal activity. We are dedicated to furthering our understanding of unexplained phenomena.
HGH investigates claims of paranormal activity using different forms of equipment, theories and intuition. All investigations are completely confidential and are conducted in a consistent and professional manner. We will only post the results of a private residence/business investigation with the property owner’s permission. Names, Locations, etc. of a private residence/business may be omitted or changed at the property owners request. Once an investigation is completed, all evidence is properly reviewed and analyzed, we will provide you with any possible paranormal findings we may have captured or experienced. We will also include an explanation of our opinions and details of facts surrounding each event. For the Highland Ghost Hunters, investigating and studying the paranormal is a passion.
We do not charge for our services.
HGH uses different procedures during paranormal investigations that include temperature and EMF (electro-magnetic field) base readings, as well as observing possible fluctuations. We would also use video equipment and digital cameras to capture any visual evidence of possible paranormal activity. For audio we use various voice recorders including digital and cassette that may pick up possible EVP’s (electronic voice phenomena-the alleged communication by spirits through tape recorders and other electronic devices). Some equipment is set stationary to record, and others are handled by members during investigations.
HGH has experience and the capability of conducting investigations anywhere from public cemeteries to private residences, and businesses.
HGH realizes that paranormal research is an ever-evolving field of study, so we always keep an open mind to other theories and methods. We believe in systematic processes, skepticism, logical thinking, and scientific methods for data collection and analysis. With growing knowledge and understanding of the paranormal we are able to help others by providing explanations through education, with our compassion and understanding.
