I am wondering if anybody has tested the idea of using an ordinary Compass as a tool to detect changes in magnetic fields when Entities are present or trying to manifest

I have a compass, and used it, but haven't gotten results yet. But, hey, it's small, and cheap, so isn't any hardship to take it to every investigation. I've only taken it on 6 or so investigations, something may turn up, yet.

Thanks pjay the next question to you is while you have not gotten any results with the compass yet were you using it near where any other equipment was giving a positive indication ?

On a few investigations, after getting an emf spike, I laid the compass down close, and kept the emf meter within 1-1/2 ft. of it. Neither moved again. I've tried sitting in in a room supposed to be active, with a camcorder trained on it. A few times I've taken it with me when going on an outing with friends, to a few restaurants supposed to be haunted, once or twice when friends and I went on historic house tours. At the restaurants I laid it down, and on the house tours I held it while we were listening to the docent giving the tour tell the history of the different rooms. You know, times when it's bad form to whip out an emf meter.
