Hi folks, Has anyone watched any episodes of Ghost Adventures?, it's basically about 3 guys that go to different locations and are then locked in over night with a few camera's and the normal investigative gear: www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Ghost_Adventures They have a very "In your face" approach to their investigations as to the authenticity of their results I don't wish to speculate, have a look at a few episodes and judge for yourself. I would be very interested in hearing some opinions on their "Methods" So post away Cheers Jason_GRI

Hey Jason, hope you are well. I am a regular watcher of that show. On the face of it they seem to get some interesting results. They cover a fair bit of ground considering their numbers. Saw an episode in a asylum a while ago. The evp,s that were allegedly captured were full on creepy and very clear. The provoking technique seems to work for them if a little dangerous in my opinion. Introducing guests to their to their show may validate some experiences. Debunking also not really explored so natural causes are left for us to make up our own minds. All said and done though a very entertaining show and I love seeing and hearing about places that I will never be lucky enough to visit.
For my money I prefer the two brothers on ghost lab. They have had some interesting results field testing the rt-evp and the team is very much evidence based

Hi Shireparanormal,
Thanks for that insight, they seem to be very popular with both the younger and older generations, I would say that the Boldness that they use certainly does work for them and yes I agree the EVP's are quite something in themselves.
My personal interest is in EVP and I would love to get consistant and coherent evps like these guys do, on most cases it's actual interactive EVP not just random incoherent inaudable rubbish..................might have to look at the recording gear they use..lol.
Ps. well done on your new website, looks really snazzy mate!.
cheers

Thanks for the positive feedback Jason. I have the rt-evp and have found it incredible. Recently I had what appears to be a knocking in direct response to a question. The problem is as I mentioned in another section is that the dual processors are so efficient you can pick up sounds from miles away, lol. Ctitics could therefore say that should could be coming from some distance away. I need to field test in a more remote location.

i think its a pretty easy to watch show.. some interesting results, but agree not enough debunking. They have some pretty cool equip tho! My only dislike of the show is that they jump to a lot of ' paranormal' conclusions rather easily.. however i do think a pretty good ' show' all round, and their locations are pretty interesting... that aside, i watch it coz Zak's easy on the eye hehe

Yes Karen, I like watching these type of shows mainly because of the locations they visit, but I think this show is popular with women mainly because of your last comment about Zak!!
