Following the death of a motorcyclist on this stretch of road it has become legend that motorists often observe a motorcycle suddenly appear behind them, only to "crash" into a light pole further along the road.
There's quite a few videos surfacing depicting the "Lemon Tree Passage Ghost" (example below - please excuse the language!).

If anyone is thinking of visiting this area please remember that it is not necessary to break any road rules to observe the phenomenon which has been reported at speeds well below the posted limit for this section of road. Also bear in mind that the police are now targeting the area due to the media publicity the story has gained.
