Some forum members may have seen this image floating around Facebook: ghostresearchinternational.com/userphotos/Forum/BushnellGameCam Image.jpg[/img] While much of the desired information is stripped (i.e. original EXIF etc...) there is a comparison that can be done. The compression signature matched various software - one that could not be ruled out without having the original file was the Ghost Capture App. A quick search of available images showed one of the 20 "ghosts" in the paid version seemed to match. This is shown overlayed on the image below: Lighting for both figures seem offset by almost 90 degrees to the right although the rest of the image is from the front (IR from the game cam). While the posture, proportions, highlights and shadows of both figures seem to match, a definite conclusion would not be possible without the original image being available. "Natural explanation highly likely" may be an appropriate rating at this stage but I'd love to see the original from the camera to enable more thorough analysis.

Excellent observation, as always. Your composite image is very convincing. I agree -- it's just another "Ghost Camera" smart phone application.

Thanks for posting this isolated image of the Ghost Camera App, Darren. We received another image from a visitor to the Midway Museum and I'm having trouble identifying which Ghost Camera App it came from. The image is obviously a fake, but I haven't been able to debunk it yet. I will try to get a copy of the image and post it here.

There's a great page at photodb.mtprs.org/ from Montana Paranormal Research Society which shows the "ghosts" from various apps. I collaborated on providing samples of a few of the apps to help build this resource which I think is valuable to all researchers. Hopefully your "ghost" will show up somewhere there.
