Lunar Eclipse - June 16th 2011 - Australia

For those interested, there will be a total lunar eclipse on Thursday morning (Australian Time) visible from Australia. This one will be the longest since July 2000.

It will be visible completely over Africa, and Central Asia,
visible rising over South America, western Africa, and Europe,
and visible setting over eastern Asia.
In western Asia, Australia and the Philippines, the lunar eclipse will be visible just before sunrise.
