Here's a pic submitted by Kimberly from Indianapolis USA which was taken at the Crowne Plaza San Carlos Golf Resort in Chandler Arizona. Specs from the camera are included. Kimberly is active on the forum and is eager to hear of any thoughts ... "I took this photo of the pool while staying at the San Carlos Resort in Chandler, AZ. The following day we learned from some hotel staff members that the hotel was reportedly haunted. They shared stories with us such as doors flying open followed by a cold breeze, hearing parties with laughter and music coming from an empty ballroom, telephone calls coming from extensions that don't exist, and female and male apparitions". "A white, smokey haze can be seen on the lower left window pane. It appears to be on the outside of the window as the white partition between the panes is not visible. I noticed what looks like two people in the room, however, the room is used as a meeting room (The Gene Tunney Room) and there may have been someone in the room at the time. Staff members said that a woman was either murdered or commited suicide who was staying in this room in the late 1920's."

Possibilities that come to mind here include smoke - either from something out on the balcony, or the area below which also has a fan mounted just below the doorway. From the reflections in the glass below the balcony it appears this area has outside seating and if someone was in this area they could easily be obscured by the fence. The true source of this haze may never be known - but it's presence was a good pick-up!

I am kinda drawn to Darren on this one... my first instinct to this is it looks like someone may have been smoking on the deck out there and left a cig and the smoke was going up, only bad thing is you will never really know if they where... I give you MAJOR Kudos though that you picked that up..... not many people out there could do that, and I know many teams that would kill to have an eye like yours on their team.. Good job....

Full Kudos must go to the photographer, Kimberly from Indianapolis USA, who snapped the pic and submitted it via the website.
Certainly a keen eye to pick it up!

I thought about the possibilty of smoke as well; however, the lower walkway has a tarp ceiling and the ceiling fans were running. I concluded that if someone were smoking below the fan and the tarp would have dispersed the smoke before it could rise to the second floor. t wouldn't have stayed in a steady stream. Wouldn't you think? Darren, if you still have the original photo I would love it if you could email it to me. I lost my origianl when my pc crashed.
